Understanding that the U.S. Constitution is not a novel, it is however a doctrine, a guarantee that when we walk out of our homes in the United States, we all share a common decree. Do we share a common feeling of hope or remorse?

    US Constitution

Here's what we came up with:

Utilizing the samepoint natural language processing tools we were able to determine that the U.S. Constitution is a negative document.

The natural language  / sentiment processing tool determined that U.S. Constitution is 42.93% negative.  The tool not only looks at negative words but it also looks at the context of the negative words, feelings and emotions. Here's a list of words and phrases that identified as negative:

    • not attained(8), bound(4), not exceed(4), resignation(2), absence(1), convicted(3), indictment(2), compel(1), absent(1), punish(2), expel(1), out-of(1), treason(5),breach(1), pass(2), lay(4), foreign(6), fix(1), inferior(4), against(12), war(6), raise(1), execute(1), erection(1), tax(4), duty(3), rebellion(4), laid(3), danger(2), not admit(4),inability(2), discharge(5), may provide(5), death(4), not receive(4), swear(1), faithfully execute(5), alone(1), expedient(1), may extraordinary(5), disagreement(1), may law(20),confession(1), corruption(1), crime(2), fled(1), no new(4), concerned(1), dispose(1), nothing(1), may made(5), deprived(2), contrary(2), no religious(4), no law(4), press(1),unreasonable(1), capital(1), infamous(1), jeopardy(1), criminal(1), accused(1), confronted(1), controversy(1), bail(1), excessive(1), unusual(1), deny(2), prosecuted(1),involuntary(1), servitude(1), enforce(8), deprive(1), loss(1), illegal(1), race(1), may empower(5), may direct(5), least populous(5), failure(1),

As it pertains to feelings the U.S. Constitution promotes the following emotions. Note some of these words are not in the U.S. Constitution but have been derived from the word to utilize in the U.S.Constitution to describe the feeling:

    • hope(5), satisfied(5), deficient(4), innocent(3), belittled(3), withdrawn(3), loved(2), denied(2), distant(1), exuberant(1), provoked(1), disgust(1), disgusted(1), guarded(1),

To be fair there were a good number of positive words and phrases in U.S. Constitution:

Perhaps the most intriguing set of words are the emotional words:

    • perfect(1), determined(1), number(23), resignation(2)absence(1), enjoy(2), honor(1), trust(4), party(5), indictment(2), compel(1), absent(1), punish(2), expel(1),treason(5), breach(1), like(2), foreign(6), value(2), useful(1), against(12), war(6), support(2), execute(2), tax(4), duty(3), profit(2), tender(1), peace(2), danger(2), inability(3),discharge(5), death(4), swear(1), best(1), alone(1), expedient(1), care(1), good(1), comfort(2), corruption(1), faith(1), crime(2), fled(1), well(2), dispose(1), contrary(2),richard(2), supported(1), infamous(1), grand(1), jeopardy(1), criminal(1), favor(1), bail(1), excessive(1), deny(2), disparage(1), involuntary(1), servitude(1), enforce(8),denied(4), loss(1), illegal(1),

Words like resignation, treason, breach, indictment, infamous, jeopardy, this barge, servitude, punish, swear, death, corruption reads like a negative document.
